Tioramilis is a general neutral branded Sotch whisky, the name come from the lounge gaelic "Tiora" meaning "Dry" and "Milis" meaning "Sweet" which are the do blends within a scotch whisky.
The motivations from designs came from looking into gender roles and stereotypes within the hospitality and alcohol industry to see why certain products are advertised and marketed towards certain genders. I also looked at techniques used when advertising used when targeting certain genders, for example using lifestyle and social lifestyle are used towards women. My style of branding and advertising came from looking at other spirit brands and taking inspiration from more modern looks.
I used the idea of using cocktails to show that it is a whisky for everyone and it can be drunk in anyway you want. This is why I made cocktail playing card to go with the whisky, to show different way it can be drunk wether you like your drink sweet or dry. I made all the dry type of drink with the white designs and all the sweet with the black designs, this is also why the logo is split into white and black to show the two differ flavours within the whisky.
