The Motivations for my design came from looking into hate speech and the problems it causes, researching others that have campaign's about hat speech seeing what they did and figuring out what i could do. The style come from looking at the brand guide lines from Facebook and Twitter and using the “Helvetica Neue” font to creative consitence with my switch and there platforms. As this switch would be on Facebook and twitter wanted it to fit in with the styling on the social media platforms, from my research Facebook and twitter have the high posts of hate speech. 
I decided to make a button that you would switch from "off", ""interests" or "something new" I felt it was ever important that there is an off button so it is the person chose either they decided to use it, giving them free will within there social media. 
This will all be done through algorithms, so depending on what your algorithms are will depend on that shows up, making it personal to everyone.

OFF - switch is off
INTERESTS - Hate speech will be swapped out with post that suit you interests.
SOMETHING NEW - Hate speech will be swapped out with something your algorithms think you will find interesting.
